Description
Bambou le plus répandu en Europe, le Phyllostachys se distingue par sa grande taille, sa croissance rapide, sa culture facile en pleine terre comme en bac et son caractère traçant. Mais on retient surtout la beauté de ses cannes aux coloris dorées.
Il perdra ses feuilles dès que les températures descendront sous les -8°C, mais en aucun cas impactera la souche qui elle est très résistante.
Limitez la prolifération des rhizomes traçants de ce bambou, en installant dès la plantation des "barrières anti-rhizomes", rouleau en résine à plantées autour des bambous en terre verticalement.
